Laser probing

  • Laser probing is used for the interferometer, schlieren, shadowgraphy, and polarimetry. [Implemented]
  • A Q-switch laser with a single longitudinal mode in 532 nm and with a pulse width of 5 ns is used. The laser beam is expanded providing a field of view of 30 mm in diameter. [Implemented]
  • Thomson scattering will be implemented for temperature measurement in the future. [Planned]
  • (Temporal resolution ~300 ps using Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) pulse compression in water may be implemented if necessary.)[Planned]
